While on a visit to Exeter recently I realised there was a national NT Live showing of The Bridge’s ‘Julius Caesar’ on 22 March so googled a location. So it was by chance that I discovered this brilliant little cinema. Staff were extremely friendly and...More

This isn't a huge cinema but the seats are comfortable with high quality sound and screen. It appears recently renovated. A wider range of snack would be great.

The cinema is nice, overpriced but nice. The staff are so unfriendly tho. No hello or thanks or smiles. Much better service at Odeon or Vue.

Saw The Mercy with wine in hand. Not modern and not big ( 150 seats in each screening room?) but everyone v friendly and popcorn plentiful.

We turned up 2 hours before the movie started we had drinks and pizza before the movie. We took our drinks into the movie. What a relaxing idea. The seat spacing is superb being one of long legs.

What a great afternoon spent at the Picturehouse. If you are on holiday in Devon and it rains the options with kids and teenagers are a bit pants. Normally all the other tourists flock there too. The Picturehouse is cosy, it's a proper cinema experience,...More

Mostly dough-based food, pizzas cooked to order, small bar with teas and coffees. The bar staff can be rather off-hand and one is misery personified but if you want a quick, light meal before or after a movie, it is perfectly fine.
