Whilst staying in the area,we took a canal cruise from the Quayside of Exeter to the Double locks.And saw a lot of wild life and sea birds,and stopped in one of the turf pubs for a nice pint of local ale. Highly recommend.

very pleasant trip down the canal something different than walking around the quay,very peaceful not to expensive either,go to leave a tip for the bridge man he does work hard. definitely worth it
