Great place to visit, great architecture, very interesting history tour, lots to see. Outside near the green there are lots of independent shops and cafes. Well worth a visit.

Came here today with my partner and I personally love all old gothic architecture. However, this cathedral is something else. Amazing architecture, beautiful glass and other ornaments/artwork. Cost us £7.50 each and for that we can return anytime we'd like all year around apparently, unfortunately...More

Hi Christine Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and particularly for highlighting the stories of the wall plaques. I'm glad you managed to spend plenty of time in the Cathedral itself and then the cafe.

Beautiful building, beautiful surroundings and steeped in history. Didn't take a tour as we reached a bit late. Saw plaques for lots of people, incl. for people who had served in India in the 1800s!

This cathedral is magnificent and Beautiful but utterly shocked to see a fee was being charged!? Surely a donation should be suggested! Charging to enter a church? I’m Surprised others haven’t complained. The cost is irrelevant, it’s the principle! Anyways beautiful place, historical and educational....More
