Really enjoyed wandering round the woods and garden for a few hours. The weather was great and the experience was really relaxing. Total peace and quiet for most of the time.

Thank you Helen for a very kind review. I take the point 'most of the time'. I failed to realise we still had visitors and I was desperately trying to catch up on grass cutting. Promise not to intrude on your next visit

Spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around these extensive and informal natural gardens. Captivated by the insect activity on all the ponds and lakes, could have watched all day. The tunnel overflowing with plants for sale is a gardener's dream, will be going again....More

We spent a delightful afternoon at Fast Rabbit Farm, wandering along the slopes taking in the beautiful views and spotting the wildlife. We saw a flock of small birds and I was delighted to find they were gold finches. I've never seen such a large...More

Lovely place. I visited at end of very hot dry period - mid August - the higher parts which are newly planted has suffered a bit but still gave the lovely feeling of being in the countryside. Grasses and wild flowers cut. The rest was...More

We visited on a weekday afternoon in August and had the place to ourselves! Lorna welcomed us and took us to the start of the walk, and then we had a lovely wander round the gardens. A few extra signposts or arrows would be useful...More

Thank you Ruth for your review. I was very pleased to meet you. Point taken about signage but there is always so much to do! Come again, perhaps in spring, when we might even earn a coveted five star review.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this beautiful woodland garden. There were thousands of unusual plants all over,a sight to behold. There are laid out flower beds, wild flowers and lakes with flowering lillies in. We saw lots of wildlife including 2 soaring HoneyBuzzards, toads, rabbits and hundreds of yellow...More

We went there on a hot day when the azaleas were out and they were stunning! The site is very big and the owners have a lot of maintenance to organise, plus the nursery to run - so impressive, worth a visit!

It was our plan to find inspiration for my own oversized garden and we searched the web for a day out. Here at Fast Rabbit Farm we could take the dogs and roam over 40 acres of someone's love, toil and labour, in the shade,...More

We visited Fast Rabbit Farm, a haven of wildlife and walked around the lakes and the surrounding landscape. A great nursery with a big selection of good quality plants, advice on hand and reasonably priced.

A long, hot spell with no rain meant that many of the nursery items were not planted out. The balance was a little dull which was disappointing after an hour’s drive to see it.

Sorry Cathy. The weather has made life very difficult. However the 'steps' are flowering well and the waterlilies are beautiful. There is a considerable range of trees to shelter under and time spent by the lake watching dragonflies and damselflies is a delightful experience.
