A very nice shingle beach with gorgeous background of black cliffs and trees. A very nice cafe. We visited on a sunny Sunday in April, not crowded at all.

Blackpool sands has no sand but lots and lots of rocks. The kids loved examining all the beautiful variations of rocks. We visited Blackpool Sands on a very sunny day in early April. The beach is huge and the facilities mean all your needs are catered for. Parking all day is only £4 which is good value if staying for a few hours.

Lovely secluded spot with ample parking (you have to pay ) and a good size beach that seems to have enough space for everyone without having to sit too close. You need to go prepared as the amenities are limited but this does mean there aren't coach loads, kiss me quick hats or bars selling over priced beer and the... More

The beach is spotless with no dogs allowed so very child friendly. The cafe was excellent and also had a license if you wanted alcohol. My wife had house rose wine which was excellent and the chicken liver pate was superb serve with sour dough toast & chutney. Toilets were spotless and this is is a great beach to visit
