For a truly out of this world experience, don't miss out on the fun at the Milky Way Adventure Park - North Devon's multi award family winning day out. Just 10 minutes outside of Bideford awaits a full day of adventure for the whole family come rain or shine. Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster - enjoy the panoramic views from the top, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Have a close encounter with aliens in the Clone Zone dark ride and take on the huge death slide in the Time Warp - if you dare. Opening in 2016 is an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia - one man's vast private collection of characters, collectables and fan art from film and TV...from Daleks to Darth Vader! There's plenty for smaller adventurers too including the innovative Little Stars play centre designed for babies to pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, a dressing up area, roll play pizzeria complete with kitchen, tables and food to stimulate imaginative play - and even a pretend car wash with ride-on cars. The park also boasts the UK's largest bouncing pillow, as well as a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults. One of the parks most popular attractions are the droid destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, including little ones with special gentle rides for smaller visitors. Another favourite is the Time Warp - North Devon's biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children. To wind down, visitors can take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way railway, and then sit back and enjoy the shows which include Merlin from Britain's Got Talent with his fun packed skills and thrills show and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Birds of Prey Centre. The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so you can be sure that the show goes on whatever the weather! Alongside this, there's plenty to try your hand at including archery, golf and laser shooting for all the family. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, The Milky Way is the biggest all weather, family day out in North Devon. It's designed to be fun for parents as well as kids and there are no hidden extras as all of the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee. Your adventure awaits you - are you ready?

As part of a group of 13, including 5 kids, this was a great day out. Although we've been to the park before (around 5 years ago) we still all had a great day. Some of the rides are restricted, depending on the height of your child, which is understandable, so they have alternate rides for the smaller kiddies. Lots... More

It sounds like you had a great day, Kez - and what a lovely review, thankyou. It's really nice to hear that you liked us enough when you visited before to come back, and that you also enjoyed all the new fun that we've added in recent years. Did you get a chance to check out our Sci-Fi Exhibit, and... More

I used to go here as a child and always loved it. I recently took my 1 year old and it's changed so much since then but is now even better. I was so pleased to see all that has been added for the little ones. We could have spent all day in the 0-6 years area but there were... More

Came here for the day on the 28th December 2016 for our Son's Birthday. From start to finish we had a wonderful time. The Star Wars/Dr Who theme room was our first stop, the kids had lots of fun posing with their favourite characters for a picture and looking at the collectors memorabilia. Then it was dodgem fun, Roller coaster... More

We stumbled upon this theme park on Google. We arrived quite late (1:30pm and park closes at 5pm) but we still had a fantastic afternoon. The owner was very friendly and enthusiastically welcomed us. We managed to go and visit almost all the attractions bar a few (not because of time but because we decided not to) Very fun, we... More

Whole family visited for the day, partly to see Santa, whom was very good and took the time to speak to my niece and nephew. Good fun filled day.

We have just had a lovely day. Father Christmas is wonderful, caring and spends lots of time with every child. We all think he is the real one with a beautiful real beard and lovely grotto. The children get asked what type of present they would like which is all included in the price of entry to the park. I... More

Great for a family day out with young children. Visiting Father Christmas here was magical, and didn't cost any extra. Would happily pay for it separately, he is the best Santa I've seen in the UK.

I'm delighted you had a 'lovely family day out' as this is what we all work so hard to achieve for our guests. Our grotto and extra festive activities proved very popular once again and we're very lucky to have what has been said on many occasion to be 'the real santa' here with us at the Milky Way. I...
