Spoke to Margaret, who was most helpful and friendly - and provided all the information we needed. Centre all staffed by volunteers. Thank you for your help.

It is actually worth a bit of time to stop in at the Visitors Centre here. Lots of good information and will help orient you to the area and walking about the Castle Peninsula.

Be sure to visit this center. Lot's of fun things to look and purchase. Has a great exhibition of the Castle as it used to be. The model Castle puts things in perspective. Very interesting.
