This is a beautiful stretch of coastline - no particularly exciting features, but a solidly good beach. I spent a happy hour or two attempting to surf while the wife shivered on the shore. We wandered round the clifftops, did some seal spotting and saw...More

The perfect beach for a family day or just a quick surf. Parking is free for National Trust members and relatively close to the beach. A large sandy area or more sheltered spots among the rocks. Lifeguards on duty in the summer months. An ideal...More

Amazing sandy beach, massive at low tide. Plenty of small pools for younger children to play in as well as well lifeguarded areas for body boarding and swimming. Could just do with an ice cream shop!

Best beach we have been to in Cornwall so far was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of rock pools for the kids to play in and not as busy as other beaches in the area. Parking £6 for the day wasn’t too bad.

A huge beach that has clear waters and lovely sand. Well kept and recommended with children. No dogs was also great.

Miles of golden sands, quite breathtaking. The kids loved it, so many rock pools to keep them happy for hours.

Great beach for relaxing and body boards/surfing. Two good food servic points with toilets. Not many other facilities but if you go here you know that's the case.

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!

I did not see any signs for a specific area for dogs to be walked on.
