A great place to visit at any time of the year. There's a large range of tide there, so at high spring tide there's little of the beach. At low tide, it's a long way out.

Beautiful beach with fantastic views of Godrevy lighthouse, made even more spectacular due to the wind speed on the day! Crashing waves and seals in the cover, perfect coastal walk.

Another beautiful beach and slightly warm sea. There was around a dozen rock pools . We found crabs , tiny fish and shrimps. One of the best beaches.

Although this area can become very busy in the school holidays, this beach is plenty big enough to allow everyone to have some space. At low tide that is! What I like about the beach is that there are no fancy hotels or buildings to...More

Gwithian beach is often very windy, but is worth exploring as well as visiting the neighbouring area of Godrevy Point. Surfers are often seen riding the very 'exciting' waves.

Stunning beach, superbly clean and wonderful walks. We went back three times it was so lovely. Weather was superb and being in October meant we could take our dogs, loved it.

What country are we in? Absolutely not what I expected at all. Awesome. Glorious day, miles and miles of yellow sand, next to no one there. Spend an hour or a day and you will feel uplifted.

Just up on top the sand dunes is where my husband’s family home has been and it’s become a summer tradition for the entire family to meet there one sunny summer’s day to picnic & play cricket. There are always professional life guards present and...More

Keep it quiet but this is one of the best and least used beaches in Cornwall. It has a lovely café at the lighthouse end of the beach, I would highly recommend a visit.

No,it's National Trust for the most part and there's no camping on the beach. There is a camp site just up the road at gwithianfarmdotcodotuk which is also close to a pub!

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!
