a magical place to vist

A short walk from the road, with a small laybe to park in, this is definitely worth a visit. A magical energy around these stones. this circle is very well preserved.

The stones are well hidden on the road from Penzance to Lands End near to Lands End airport. There is a tiny plaque in a small layby on the left (from Penzance) to inform you that you have reached the stones. The layby will allow 3 cars at the most to park in, although this place is well hidden and... More

This tone circle has a magical atmosphere. It is off the beaten track, I would recommend it to people who like ancient stone circles.

This site is a little tricky to find. Keep your eyes peeled as you drive along the A30 from Penzance to lands end. About 800m past the turning to Carn Euny, look out for the lay by on the left with a small plaque. If you reach a bend with a furniture workshop on the right, then you've gone too... More

There is only room for about two cars in the layby and the area is not very well marked, apart from the beginning of the path. It took us about fifteen minutes to walk to the circle, through bracken and blackberry bushes; the ground is very uneven and there is no wheelchair access. Boscawen-un means ‘House of the Elder Tree’... More

Visited with friends on a sunny afternoon. Easy to find with space for a couple of cars. Small uneven walking path, but what a great little circle! Took out our dowsing rods and had a blast! So much energy here. Very private, great place for a picnic. FREE

When we finally found it there was a guy water-divining (or possibly checking out lay lines?). Being a natural cynic I don't do spiritual stuff, but this place did have a palpable and memorable magic about it. Helped no doubt by a glorious display of spring flowers. Very well worth the effort required.

Everyone gravitates towards Stonehenge but not many take the time to go and see the other stone circles that are free to visit and touch in England. You can bask in their glory at your leisure. England has 1000's of stone circle. One such amazing one is Boscawen-un - a little bit of a trek to get to it, but... More

This is a little hard to find but well worth it. There is parking for 3 or 4 cars and access through a swing gate to the field. It's easy walking.
