We were staying next door in the hotel Victoria. Great little pub. Full of atmosphere. Quite lively and loud. TV'S everywhere so great for a footy night. Had a Irish leprechaun cocktail which was nice.

When searching for pubs/restaurants that catered for children this came up. It's close to the travelodge ( 2 mins away) and we loved it. We wanted food that offered a good choice for us aswell as my daughter. Great value for money and we'll worth it. A kids meal was £4.50 which came with a free soft drink and a... More

On Saturday nights they have bands to entertain you. We didn't try the nightclub as we prefer bars so cannot comment on that part. But the bar staff were quick to serve you.

Oh you wouldn't wish for me to tell you what i think apart from don't go. The lodge when looking up on net is nothing like when there and chargers for no reason eg five quid a towel which is small and non fit to use, it's nightclub is just as bad and waste of money and time.

Called in here for a drink while strolling around Newquay one afternoon and received a warm welcome. The barman couldn't do enough for us and even brought fresh water out for the dog as the weather was hot. Keep up the good work!

the irish pub BERTIES in newquay not to be confused with berties night club at the side,is your typical irish pub packed to the rafters especially on big sporting matches and of course paddy,s day.unusual layout but nice, decent music played for all, outside drinking area,a really nice pub to let your hair down.

I travel to Newquay often with friends and we always make an effort to go to Berties at least once (only when it's free entry) for holiday banter. Theres never more then 2 people in there, the music is terrible and it has no atmosphere, but there is always so fun to be had at someones expense or each others......... More
