As a family we parked in the carpark close to the sea front. It's a long beach so good for walking dogs and teenagers to kick a ball about. It's interesting to watch the surfers. Just by the carpark is surfing shops where you can book surf lessons plus restaurants and ice cream shop.

Great for walks, surfing or just chilling in the bar and admiring the views. The shops and restaurants on the beach were good and seemed popular. There are various surf schools available that use the beach. The walks to and from the beach are also great, easy but with fantastic views. Great place for watching the sunset

Whilst there are more picturesque beaches across the UK. Fistral is the most famous, the most accessible and probably the most conveniently located. Home the the annual UK surfers festival, along with fantastic summer sunsets it really is hard to beat.

A nice very clean beach, although the weather prevented us from walking along it. I imagine it would be very crowded during the summer months

This is another beautiful beach that deserves the titles it has gained. A firm family favourite, stunning location and scenery.

This a beautiful beach by English standards and is ideal for a relaxing afternoon or a session on the waves surfing. I totally understand why this is rated #1 in Newquay, it is complimented by some quaint surf stores nearby and a beachfront restaurant/cafe serving great food and great views. I was here during the annual Boardmasters festival and have... More
