We've been attending live music events at the Jacobs for some time now and have traditionally really enjoyed our evenings here. It's no mean feat to come as we live several miles away. Unfortunately we're not sure whether we've just been unlucky or not more...More

We stayed here for 1 night, the welcome was okish, room ok, basic, couldn't lock window, dusty and marks here and there in the room, had a cold shower couldn't get hot water to work! Was going to have a breakfast but the funny smell...More

What a fun friendly lot in this pub. Just went for an early evening drink. Serving sunday roast dinners - look large portions and all plates cleared. Very busy and lively place. Definitely call in again after climbing Jacob's Ladder.

The Jacob's Ladder isn't as good as the Seaview along the road, but it is nevertheless a decent enough boozer. It seems to have a mixed clientele with students at one end of the bar and old stagers at the other. Loads of stuff on...More

We wanted a fairly cheap overnight stay in Falmouth. We were welcomed and given the free WiFi code and code to front door so we could come and go as we pleased. The room was perfectly adequate and as advised there were shared facilities. It...More

Although my friend and I had booked the wrong date, they went out of their way to find us another place to stay. Appreciated it as they were very busy, and so grateful.

We enjoyed walking up all the steps to this inn. We were greeted to a loud, entertaining bunch at the inn and enjoyed a nice glass of ale. Nice atmosphere and friendly people.

HI there Yes we get a mixed bag of reviews. Most love the place but some expect a lot more than it is. Essentially we are a music pub with rooms, with the rooms above the bar. Hence noise can be a problem maybe on some... More
