Lovely beach, quite small but not very busy, and quite a large pay and display car park costing £4 for a whole day which I found very reasonable. Beach is quite stoney

Small but a great beach to visit with children as you can see them wherever they are in the water. Easy parking in the car park across the road from the beach. Public toilets nearby. Cafe for sandwiches and coffee etc. SUP and kayak rental...More

The coastal path from Gyllanvase beach across to Swanpool is a great walk with beautiful views out across the sea. Swanpool isn't a very large beach and is quite rocky and stoney, and it's much quieter than its main counterpart. There is a small beach...More

Popped in for a take away. Sat on seats outside and had a lovely panini and ice cream. Lovely spot. Lots of dog walkers on route and walkers along the way.

Went to Swanpool beach for a relaxing time, watched school children being taught for to use paddle boards and kayaks. Beach is shingle with sand available at low tide, very relaxing way to spend some time in the sunshine.

This was our first beach of the holiday. A nice bay, and a decent beach, but very pebbly - which wasn't ideal for us with a fussy toddler. The main bonus here though was the excellent cafe and seating, which served up delicious salads, ciabattas,...More

Have to say I'm surprised at the four and five star reviews of this beach. I wasn't very impressed. The sand is mixed with a lot of small stones and it reminded me of the mixes you see at building sites. The large flood defence...More
