I drove around castle drive enjoying the view and stopping at Pendennis point to have an ice-cream and walk the dogs. Great views, lovely place.

The sun was shining and the Pier and promenade were the best places to be. The views across the harbour watching the ferry and tour boats passed the time of day for an hour or so. The only downside was the bad smell of drains...More

Falmouth Bay is one of the Worlds largest natural deep-water harbours and the bay is crystal clear! You can see local fishing boats and pleasure craft as well as cruise ships and militray vessels.

Yes you can take dogs. Best to keep them on a lead as you are for the main part walking alongside main roads.

Not as far as I know - I've been coming here for 15 years and would have found some by now! Falmouth doesn't seem to be that sort of place - in fact we have only found an amusement arcade in Penzance so far.
