Normally a NT garden equipped with a great maze and walks leadings down to a tiny Cornish hamlet will get top billing, but sadly Glendurgan has a rather attractive neighbour to compete against, and sadly comes off worse. The maze was great fun but in...More

Rather similar to Trebah gardens; both are on the sides and bottoms of valleys leading down to beaches. Glendurgan is National Trust and less obviously commercial than Trebah. The cafe is is basic. However the small village and beach at the bottom are prettier than...More

Happened upon Glendurgan Garden on our way to somewhere else. So pleased we discovered it. We spent a most enjoyable few hours wandering around the wonderful gardens, not least of which consisted of us getting "lost" in the maze"! At the bottom of the hill...More

Lovely gardens. Really helpful and informative staff, giving us information on the best route down for someone using walking sticks and about the facilities in Durgan village at the bottom of the gardens. Lots to see and enjoy. Beautiful autumnal colour. A lovely walk and...More

This is a lovely garden (despite the fact that I visited in the rain) but if you have a choice between this and Trebah next door, I would go for Trebah I'm afraid. If you are a NT member it's definitely worth a wander though,...More

As NT members we've visited Glendurgan several times when holidaying in Cornwall. Wonderful walks, stunning gardens, a fun maze for all ages, and the pleasure of the little beach at the far end. Also a typically excellent NT cafe.

We visited Glendurgan immediately after visiting Trebah next door. We enjoyed our walk, the Maze is great fun and we really enjoyed the access to Durgan village and beach with spectacular views of the Helford river. However, we were a little disappointed, we enjoyed Trebah...More

A very nice garden with an amazing tulip tree. The garden is a long downhill to the beach and then a walk back up past the maze. The maze is not easy!

Hi - the village of Durgan is also National Trust owned but dogs are allowed all year round. Access is either along the SW coast path or you can park in the NT car park at the top of the valley and take the half mile walk... More

The garden is a 15 minute drive from Falmouth. You can reach the garden by walking the coast path, it will take 2-3 hours from Falmouth. When you reach Durgan village, you can then access Glendurgan Garden.
