Brilliant for chillaxing in summer, take a book and snacks (maybe a folding chair) and stay all day. Spacious, mature trees for shade, indifferent loos, things for kids, some seating, small carpark - get there early. Wildflower area. Pond. Ice cream van. Very impressed.

The park is near my home and my kid's school. There's a large playground for children to play but there's little to see for an adult, in winter.

A hidden gem for us, but will def return. Really lovely day that didn't cost the earth, just the car parking fee, and our own picnic. Spent the whole day on what was a really sunny hot day. Lots for kids to do, as well...More
