We went through this field on a path, during a bike tour (with Cambridge Bike Tours). The overall tour was great, but Jesus Green wasn't particularly exciting -- just a nice green spot to ride through.
Very well presented park with a Lido pool, playground.
Apparently also a bombing area too since they find the mortar dated WWII in the water run!
My only problem is what on earth Cambridge does about all those Junky walking, sleeping among passants!
Although it was an overcast afternoon it was lovely and warm,
we were there to enjoy live jazz music in the open air,and it was fabulous...
Lots of different age groups, the children were enjoying themselves,
with mums and dads..lots of picnics on the go....More

Sorry for the delay in answering your question, if you are travelling at this time of year it will not be busy at all, I didn't notice a huge crowd in that area when I visited , so my guess would be that it is comfortably... More
