A peaceful, dignified, beautifully kept, memorial to the thousands of service personnel who paid the ultimate price for the very freedom we enjoy today. The sheer number of white crosses and stars and the names on the Wall of of Remembrance is heartbreaking when you think, not only of the lives lost, but also of the people they left behind.

It's the second time I've been to this place and it hit me as hard as it did the first visit. There's a feeling of calm and sadness attached to it. As you walk the paths and look across the vast area of almost 4000 white crosses and stars it really brings a lump to your throat, thinking of all... More

A beautiful peaceful place that is a fitting tribute to the thousands of our American friends who gave their lives helping protect us so we enjoy the freedom we do today. Reading the stories about the young men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice is very moving. Gardens and monuments are immaculate and beautifully kept. Visitor centre is very... More

This is a typical military cemetery, beautifully laid out and well-kept. It is located outside Cambridge on a road leading from the city to the village of Madingley

The cemetery is stunningly well laid out and kept immaculately. The Americans are very good at this as you'll know if you've visited similar military cemeteries of theirs in Europe and the USA. The personalised stories of some of the individuals remembered in the visitors centre are very moving. Whenever friends visit me in Cambridge I always try to bring... More

The only American cemetery in the UK to commemorate those who gave their lives in World War 2. The Visitors Centre does a great job of explaining the history of WW2 and tells a number of stories of those who gave their lives in the call of duty. The cemetery is very well laid out and kept immaculate. The wall... More

A truly magnificent monument to those departed. This is a model of how to do this type of thing. This is a must for anyone visiting Cambidge who has any interest in American and other past heros. It must be kept for all time

The price of freedom to see how many young men sacrificed their lives for true freedom will leave anyone silenced and thoughtful. The airfield around Cambridgeshire were very busy during world war 2 and this is a reminder to all those who take freedom for granted.
