Stopped by on a glorious day for a spot of lunch. Having walked up the hill in full sun from the waterfront the venue ticked all the boxes for an indoor venue which offered a cool respite from the heat!

We stopped here for a glass of prosecco before rejoining our City Tour. The bar lady was very friendly and we got talying to a local. Both had ideas of where to go and what to do in Bristol. Lovely atmosphere. Nice bar.
I love this quirky little pub with good locally brewed real ales and decent Gins. Obviously shaped and diminutive in stature it has a great atmosphere as a result and is a favourite starting point for a night out in Clifton.

Waited at the bar whilst the bar lady spoke to a couple of guys at the bar. Place was empty, was next to be served but lady served someone else even though I was next. Walked out and went elsewhere. Shame.
