Came across this market by accident and was surprised by the mix of vendors - it was a really wet day, and still relatively early so the full array of stalls were open. We thought that it was an interesting g place to spend sometime

This market is wonderful and would recommend to anyone who enjoys old architecture and interior. The shops within were obviously very well run and very crafty. Prices are obviously going to differ from shop to shop but prices were similar with what you’d expect from...More

Saint Nicholas Market is partly housed in what was the Old Corn Exchange building, which has some nice architectural features. The comprehensive market also has some excellent ‘Street Food’ stalls with seating, although this is somewhat limited. For a great meal go to the Moroccan...More

As someone who visits St. Nicks almost every day, I was shocked to read a review criticising the shopkeepers for being "part-time". I have got to know several traders over the years and I know that they work 10 hours a day, six days a...More

The clothing stalls are the more unusual items - certainly not your run of the mill high street stuff. Don' remember seeing any shoe stalls, but there might very well be.
