A pub to visit if you're prepared to feel extremely unwelcome. Would not visit again based on rude service.

Whilst enjoying an occasional curry, as a local pub was promoting a curry night we thought we would give it a try. Big mistake. The curry sauce simply looked like curry flavoured gravy poured over the meat and rice. Not appetising to look at -...More

We enjoy popping in here for a drink on our way to eat out in the village. The range of Belgium beers is great and Dee knows the range well and can make some really good suggestions.

The poster talking about bad service is talking absolute rubbish. This is a wonderful pub, well run by lovely people that do awesome food and beer. A brilliant place that is highly recommended. Pay no attention to that lady good people. :-)

I'm not going to waffle on; this tiny pub built into the walls of a Regency terrace in Clifton is well worth a visit. It's wonderfully unmodernised, always has a good range of real ales on draft if you're into that, plus a good selection...More

This is a small pub with a cosy atmosphere. What really makes it is the friendliness of the landlady - nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.
