More
Windmill Hill City Farm was formed in 1976 by a volunteer group of local residents determined to see a piece of inner city wasteland put to more productive use, giving the local community the opportunity to experience farming in the heart of the city. It offers educational, recreational and therapeutic facilities and activities for local people including a range of farmyard animals, community gardens, picnic area, café serving home-made food, an adventure playground, community building with meeting spaces, a five-a-side pitch, environmental and craft-based courses, and a nursery for children aged from nine months to five years old.

Went here with our youngest grandson. The farm is well laid out and the animals look well cared for. There is plenty to see and do. Aside from animals they are growing lots of flowers, fruit and veg. Interesting sculptures adorn the gardens. A small,...More

It's a great place to show nature to children who lives in a city and no time to travel. Our daughter loved the friendly goats and the cows. The giant scorpion is also brilliant.

Really good farm for children; particularly enjoyed the goats which were quite lively. Free of charge.

We came all the way from Cornwall for our friends wedding. This was their wedding venue and it was lovely! Magical atmosphere and lots for the kids to see. The food was amazing. It really was a lovely evening. Thanks for having us.
