Myself and friend who was visiting for the weekend went to Watershed Cinema 3, throughout the film we were subjected to the smell of cooking fried onions, garlic and general horrible stick to your clothes type smells...it made the whole experience uncomfortable and very unenjoyable and if it were not for the fact we would have had to to disturb... Hello A5741HMLinda, Thanks for taking time to review your experience and I'm sorry to hear your visit to Cinema 3 was marred by cooking smells. I'm delighted to hear you were pleased with your full refund after the film had ended. I'm afraid that cooking smells come from the Harbourside kitchen below the cinema and are very difficult for us... More

Yesterday evening I had the Brocolli pakora and fries in the bar. The fries were Ok but the pakora was inedible and really awful. It was nothing like a pakora but just 4 bits of brocolli that were overcooked and soggy and covered in a few bits of undercooked batter, and the "coconut sauce" was tasteless. Really bad.

I love coming here. I have a friend who lives in Bristol and I always try and make sure that I fit in a visit here. I have seen the likes of The Selfish Giant, The Imitation Game, A United Kingdom and An Education. The choice if films they show here is very similar to HOME in Manchester. You get... More

Excellent hangout for a drink, food and art house cinema. You can just have a drink and the cafe is large so good chance of finding a table to while away an hour or two

Had an absolutely great experience going to the cinema and watching 20th Century Women here. When I went to buy a ticket I found out I was eligible for a cheaper ticket (score!) then what I was originally going to get (because I was under 24) the ticket then got me and extra 30% off of the meal I picked... I am very impressed with the cinema, the three screens always show top class films, whether they be popular or foreign and independent films. The seating is extremely comfortable,as someone who is very tall I find this a great bonus.

This is a local for us and we like coming here. There is always a film worth watching - usually fringe - and a clientele who don't rattle crisp bags or chatter annoyingly once the film has begun. I enjoy reading what other people have written about films on the pin-board and there is a good bar with reasonable snacks.
