Sure this will be an excellent attraction when renovations are complete earlyish part of next year. There is a good collection of fish and plant life and an informative and engaging approach to the displays although the impact of extensive building work was quite disruptive at end of November.

The staff are brilliant, welcoming and friendly. It is extremely therapeutic to walk through the various sections and observe the variety of specimens. Saw multi-tasking in action as Rachel fed the sharks and gave an educative, humorous and well delivered talk.

Hi Clyde, Thank you for taking the time to review us! I'm really pleased to hear that you found the aquarium displays to be so therapeutic. A recent study found that aquariums do positively impact on mental health and I believe this is due to the sensory nature of watching these beautiful animals in their naturally-themed exhibits. I'll be sure... More

We visited Bristol Aquarium in November 2016. Lots of maintenance work everywhere at the moment. Half hour was enough to go around, small place. We saw many beautiful animals, but the flowers and other plants looks dry. It looks like no one care about them enough. The price is a bit high for this small Aquarium.

Hi Marta, Thank you for taking the time to review the Bristol Aquarium. I'm really glad that you enjoyed looking at our animals, some of them are very bright and colourful and even the less colourful ones are interesting or have fascinating facts to learn about. Our horticulturalist has been hard at work rotating the flower stock in our botanical... More

I understand this place needs lot of maintenance hence the high prices and although you can walk round as many time as you want on the day of your ticket- it is still pricy. Think child prices could be a bit lower. Well maintained. Interesting. Fish look happy!!!

Thank you for your recent review. It is great to hear you understand that there are large running costs to the Aquarium and therefore the structure behind the admission prices. We do also review our prices regularly to ensure they are in line with other attractions locally. If you are looking for the best ticket prices, it is 15% off... More

Kids loved it..... a little on the expensive side for a family of 4, but we made the most of our time on site.

Took my daughter here for a visit at half term. She loved the enormous variety of underwater creatures and especially the tunnel where they were swimming over her head.

Me and my fiancee had a lovely time here. We loved seeing all the animals and learning about them. Ive been to many aquariums but this one was probably my favourite, just because the animals were happily swimming up to see us. Very interactive. We would come back a year or so.

Today I visited with a lady whom I support. We were greeted by the rudest of staff members who said that its only one carer to concession, after explaining that the support staff are required for safety of this lady and the public we ended up paying for an extra adult even though all attending were classed as carers (ID... We however pride ourselves on flexibility and in investigating further, I understand you were offered complimentary... More
