Had a super day out at the aquarium with friends. The aquarium isn't huge but lots packed into the space they have in a super location near the harbour and lots of other attractions. Other reviewers have said it is over priced and if you just walk through at a constant pace without stopping to look and marvel at everything... More

My last day in Bristol and the weather turned sour. A very good indoor activity which would keep the children occupied for a good few hours. Especially if you combine it with a trip to Swoon (gelateria) afterwards. Well laid out with a lot to see. The only disappointment was not seeing an octopus.

It's not exactly on the same scale as Sea World, but it's a nice small aquarium, with a number of well lit fish tanks. The "Shark" tank being the most impressive, even though it was probably smaller than most swimming pools. Unfortunately the gate fee doesn't really reflect the smallness of the attraction, and you leave feeling as if you've... More

Took my young grand daughter and also being interested about an English aquarium. Was very pleasantly surprised with the displays, the variety of environments from English coastline to tropical environment, and with lots of information on what was on display. Very educational and a worthwhile trip for children.

Visited on Friday with my husband and our 6 year old. I had read previous reviews and was a little concerned about the size of the aquarium but thought we would be able to make the most of our visit. We attended all the talks and activities we could, read all the signs and enjoyed the sealife, our visit last... More

2 families with a 6, 3, 2 and 1 year olds went. It is definitely overpriced but we had a nice time. It's good that you can come and go with your ticket, so we went elsewhere for lunch. Overall I was a bit disappointed as there isn't that much to do.

We came here yesterday with friends whilst having a few days break in Bristol. We took our time going around, reading most of the information boards and listening to one of the talks that was on whilst we were there. It took us 1&1/4 hours to go the whole way around for £38 for 2 adults and a 4 year... More

Save your money and pay a visit to a decent aquatic shop; it's that interesting. It's poorly laid out and could do with better information boards.

It's not terribly big, but what it does have it makes the most of. There was lots of diversity too. It is quite a small place but well laid out as you go up and down in a wave style to fit it all in. At £20 for an adult ticket....over priced. I was there for half an hour and... More
