We took my in-laws on a whim. We wanted something a bit different without shops being involved. We wandered around reminiscing and before we knew it nearly four hours had gone by. A lovely lunch and cuppa. Thank you for an amazing attraction.

Great museum which replaces the former farm shop. Have taken people living with a dementia here and it was fantastic for them as the displays evoked so many memories. I found it fascinating, just a shame carers don't get in free.

Set in barn type buildings, Oakham is a maze of history. Most items from the 50's etc are covered, ranging from shop items to cars and tractors. All indoors so good for a wet day. On site café.

Huge selection of historic artefacts from the last 100 years. All the branded merchandise you think of, going back pre wartime. My 2 year old son loved the tractors and old cars. Definitely worth a visit. The place wasn't very busy which was a shame....More

You will love it. We are 68 with replacement knees and several feet operations so You can rest your feet as you go around, as there is a lot to see. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.
