The woman behind the desk where we were staying said there were no boardwalks on Cape Cod and sent us off to watch the sunset on the beach, which was lovely but November cold and windy and sandy of course. So the next day I did my own homework and found out about this lovely boardwalk over marshlands near Gray's... More

A great spot on the Cape to refresh your spirit. The boardwalk extends 1,500 feet into a typical New England salt marsh. You have a great panorama of Bass Hole, Center Street Marsh, Sandy Neck Point and Cape Cod Bay. Great location for pictures or just a peaceful respite at any time of day. However, watch out for the black... More

I took my son, best friend and her son here and it was truly a wonderful and beautiful experience. I had traveled here myself a few times in the past and had been entranced by the area's beauty and so was everyone else. As you walk out, you get to see all kinds of nature around you - birds, crabs,... More

The reason they don't connect it to the beach is its a nature and wild reserve. I grew up nearby at Chapin Beach during summers.

Beautiful walk out into the marsh. Birds and nature all around you. Excellent spot for sunset views over Barnstable harbor and sandy neck. A Small beach is also available with limited parking.

Being from New Jersey my wife and I had imagined a boardwalk like we have in NJ. This was a very pleasant surprise and very enjoyable. Looking at the benches with their dedications and the wood planks with names on them really makes this quite special. Highly recommend.

Very nice wooden walking boardwalk. The flats are beautiful at low tide. Free parking although limited parking is available at the boardwalk area.

Nice walk out on the marsh. The absolute bummer is the walkway just stops and therefore fails to connect you to the beach in front of you. Hopefully, some day this project will be funded to complete the pathway. Also, beware: No Restroom facilities :(

A tranquil walk anytime of year. One of the best places to view sunset, on the Cape. Parking is free.

YOU MUST GO HERE!!! This was a highlight of our week in Cape Cod. It's so quiet and peaceful. I'm sure the sunset is amazing, but, that did not fit into our schedule, so we got here for sunrise one morning. Pics below.
