Very interesting tour. We actually watched a butterfly come out of a cocoon. Great science tour for kids - they even had a special display of working aunts that was amazing!

Outstanding opportunities to view beautiful creatures up close. Highly recommended! Not overcrowded when we went, which made for a very pleasant experience. Insect displays are the best I've seen anywhere we've visited--very well laid out, explained, and maintained.

There are probably larger more elaborate butterfly places elsewhere but this one is certainly worth seeing both for the butterflies and the other animals in their tropical garden: tortoises, an iguana and flamingos. Yes they are. We just ask that you are mindful of the other guests and that the feet stay on the paths and not in the garden beds. Thank you and enjoy your visit!
Can you get there from the cruise terminal without renting a car? In other words, is there public transportation?
