We stopped in quick to check the place out, it was a great little escape into the tropics to find all sorts of treasures. Something that you could come back time and time again and always find something new.

This is a great spot for both kids and adults, especially in the winter when you'd like to warm up for a bit. The addition of the Insectarium is great. We always have fun looking for all the other critters in the butterfly garden (iguana,...More

We've have visited a number of butterfly gardens and many of them have been a little sad with dead butterflies everywhere - the Victoria butterfly gardens are definitely a lot better looked after than any we've been to. The garden isn't huge, but there are...More

The Butterfly Gardens are lovely. (Just remember it is very warm in there!) Not only are the butterflies beautiful, but the birds, animals, insects and plants are also well worth seeing. We took our time and just looked at everything, with the help of the...More

This was one of two highlights of a mini-bus tour we took in July from the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, Vancouver Island. It is a very well constructed educational facility as well as having an amazing collection of butterflies and ants, pupae, flamingoes, toads...More

I've been to a few other butterfly exhibits and this one was similar to ones I've seen before. They have a nice variety of butterflies and there are plenty of them. What they have done that others have not is they have a few other...More

Yes they are. We just ask that you are mindful of the other guests and that the feet stay on the paths and not in the garden beds. Thank you and enjoy your visit!
