This day hike is led by Canadian and U.S. park rangers 2x a week during the summer, and is very informative. You have to purchase the one way ferry ticket in advance. Passports are required.

I do it every time I go to waterton. It is 5 miles by air but 8.5 miles on the trail. The CDN side is quite up hill but once you reach the USA border it flattens out more. There are a few interesting points...More

There was a lovely boat ride to the end of the International Peace Park of Montana. We walked along the trail a short distance to a pavilion where the ranger gave a talk about the area. This is a peaceful, quiet, beautiful place to see....More

You can take days or hours or just a boat trip. Cross into Montana, hike, or just sit and enjoy peaceful sounds! Plus the boat ride over is very interesting
