Edward and Vintage is set in the heart of the Peak District. Housed in the former post office in the village of Tissington. Edward and Vintage is situated at the start of two wonderful foot paths taking you across fields to the Tissington trail. A great venue to get your supplies for the walk or to sit and enjoy a handmade ice-cream in the gardens of the cottage after a day exploring.

We came across the sweet shop whilst wandering around Tissington Village. My husband was so happy as he came out with bags of sweets he remembered from his childhood. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Well worth a wander inside.

Spent ages reminiscing about all the sweets on sale and trying to decide what to have. We ended up with a few of all sorts of sweets we hadn't tasted since childhood. The lady serving even took the time to look for lots of vegan friendly boiled sweets so that our daughter could have a nice selection of her own.... More

We stumbled on this place by accident, while walking around the village. Welcomed by a charming lady behind the counter, this shop is a reminder of gentler times and the fudge is excellent! Worth a detour.

After visiting on my own with my dog I decided to return with my hubby and young children and we just love it!! The staff/owners are fantastic and friendly! The ice cream and sweets absolutely delicious, I just wish they sold hot drinks but totally understand why they don't. Mind you if they did I'd never want to leave!! Thanks... More

This small sweetshop has all sorts of retro sweeties, like those we used to have when we were kids. We were literally like kids in a toy shop. We bought some fudge and had an ice cream cone each...in the rain :))

Popped in having veered off the Tissington trail looking for a shop selling water and some sweets, and couldn't have been more delighted to find this "step back in time" sweet shop in a beautiful little cottage in Tissington. Everything about the place transports you back to another era - 70's sweets, pick and mix, home made fudge - and... More

This shop /experience is something really special . I once ordered a sweet ration to be sent to my nephews as a gift when they were studying ww2 . The parcel arrived all wrapped up in brown paper and string. A very special individual touch . Visit highly recommended - you won't be disapointed.
