Adventures in the arctic nature, all year round! There is an arctic outdoor wonderland waiting for you to explore it and we are here to guide you. Outdoor Passion Finland is located in Rukatunturi, Kuusamo, Finland. We adventure in Ruka Ski resort, Kuusamo and the Land of National Parks. If you want to go on a guided stand up paddling adventure, learn ice climbing, experience rope abseiling, explore the backyard with skinbased skis, you need to contact us! We appreciate and value green and long term actions in office and on our adventures. Our aim is to support people to go outdoors on adventures and explore the magical wilderness we have here in Kuusamo, Finland!

We went for a ski touring excursion to Valtavaara.
Our guide Lotta was very good, attentive, engaging and engaged. She took us through some amazing retrains with pristine untouched snow deep in the forest and up to the fire guard hut from where we enjoyed the 360 degrees view of the area.
Lotta was very informative regarding the forest ecosystem, climate change issues and life in the area.
I would have no qualms to recommend Lotta and her company for an immersive experience in nature and I will be looking forward to another excursion next time we are in Ruka.

Jussi Tupasela and Lotta Sandvik were so welcoming and friendly! Jussi’s explanations were clear and understandable and he was full of funny anecdotes! Good quality equipment and guiding. We felt safe and confident throughout our trip thanks to Jussi. We definitely recommend this activity to anyone! You don’t have to be experienced in climbing to take part, only willing to learn and have a new experience. The view from the top of the wall is worth it!!

We went on a tour to riisitunturi national park with the amazing guide Lotta. Even though it was our first experience Everything from start to finish was just perfect! She took us through a very scenic route through the park all the way to a hut where we had the most delicious wraps (prepared by Lotta). It was a very memorable experience and would definitely repeat it again.
Would Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to go on an unforgettable adventure !!

We went through Outdoor to rent hiking equipment. Very welcoming, Lotta was so kind and helpful with us. It was our first hiking. She took time to explain to us each equipment... we were grateful for that !

I rent hiking equipment with Outdoor Passion to hike along the Karhunkierros
trail. The service, communication and the quality of the equipment were all wonderful. Lotta was amazing! She explained me everything that I needed to know as a first time long-distance hiker. She even planned out for me the suitable distance of each leg, beautiful spots for overnight stays, etc. I'm so grateful to her help that made my entire hiking experience really wonderful, and simply cannot think anything that she could do better. Highly recommended!

A really awesome experience! Lotta and Jussi were so welcoming right from the very beginning - Lotta picked us up early that morning to take us to the meeting point, where Jussi then briefed us on the equipment, rules and safety of the ice climbing - he was very clear and humorous in his explanation!
Whether we were belaying or up the wall, I felt comfortable with the equipment given, and Jussi was always available, keeping an eye on everyone’s safety and always willing to help. That feeling you get once you’ve managed your first ascent is incredible as well!
I’d thoroughly recommend giving this a go, no matter your previous experience or fitness level, you’ll love it!

Completely felt safe the entire time. Jussi, our guide is very friendly and funny!
It was the best experience we had whilst in Finland for 1 month.
It was a mix of exciting, nervous, exhausting and learning.
Would do it over and over again!

Suitable for anyone of any fitness level, no matter if no climbing experience at all or with previous experience - it will never bore you!

We can highly recommend this activity: Our guide Jussi explained the technique very well (we enjoyed his humour!), and guide Tessa conveyed enthusiasm, making them perfect company.
The gear and equipment was top notch and well looked after, safety is first, so that you can relax on these issues.
For first time climbers, the area is ideal, and you can climb up to 3 times.
Great experience for the whole family, therefore 5 stars.
