The woman who explain the trip used a very violen and rud way of speaking even with kids. She is always screaming even in finish and she look schizophrenic or some problem with her mental health that nobody deserves to suffer.
The dog was very tired and the used one time and another. I finish my journey pushing the sleigh.
For sure i will not back there.
The other people that are working there are kind and friendly.

Thank you for your review Alberto Berto, we take them all seriously. I'm very sorry to hear that you had this bad experience with us. We really would have hoped that you would have come to tell us directly if there was something wrong with our service. We are working with very excited and loud dogs, and sometimes we need to use our voice more so you get all the safety instructions. Because the safety of yours and our dogs is the most important thing, we need to be quite strict with our guest so accident don’t happend. Dogs are our family and very important to us. We do a lot of work for their well-being and it feels sad to read this. But we are also so sorry that you felt uncomfortable. We would always like to know if we could do something better, and then possibly we could have somehow make up for the bad feelings. If there is any possibilities, could you contact us an e-mail to husky@erasusi.com so we could talk a bit more about what happend and we caould tell you more about how we take care of our dogs. We want to learn also for our mistakes and do better. We hope you had a nice holiday anyway here in Finland, and we wish you a great day!

What an incredible experience! For us adults this was the highlight of our trip, the team were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

When we arrived we were given a briefing on how to drive the sleigh before heading over to the kennels where the Huskies were. There was lots of noise and you could tell all the Huskies were hoping it was their turn to get out for a run! You could also tell how happy they all were and it was clear that animal welfare was top of Era-Susi's priorities, they are also green activities certified.

We went for the kennel visit and 5km tour which worked out at €263 since my youngest daughter was under 4 and therefore free. Once we got on the sleigh and all the dogs were excited to get going, jumping around and barking away. When we pulled away it was amazing driving the sleigh with the family sitting in front through the Finnish forest, the scenery is picturesque and the excitement of driving the sleigh is amazing.

We went in convoy and waited for one another at various stops with opportunities to take pictures, the route took about 20-30 minutes in total. When we got back to the kennels we had the opportunity to stroke and play with the dogs who were all so friendly and gentle, some were real characters and very playful.

Following this we were taken into a hut for a hot drink and a donut, before getting the opportunity to meet the 5 week old husky puppies. After this we had the opportunity to buy some gifts in the gift shop, so we loaded up on things to take back to the family at home - great cuddly Huskies for the Nieces and Nephews.

I can't recommend this experience highly enough to anyone who is fortunate to get the opportunity to do it. The only thing I would say would be that I went for the 5km ride as I was worried the kids would get bored/cold, it was definitely too short and I would recommend getting the longest ride possible - it's definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing 5km husky experience. We had the best time. It was absolutely exhilarating and my only regret is not booking a longer session. The staff and owners were so welcoming and friendly. Would return in a heartbeat.

I've been to many places, done many things, but this experience is in my top 5!

I'm a dog man, I live with dogs, it's my passion. So I was really looking forward to this adventure. I have researched the background of this company to make sure there is no exploitation of the dogs. That this is not the case is immediately confirmed upon arrival with the clear explanation; the dogs come first.

Of course it is designed to handle groups of tourists, but it is an individual experience, from one team, you as a driver with 6 huskies. It's work! Braking downhill is easy but when going uphill it's hard work. Step and run. When you don't work you see the dogs heads turn. They look at you with speaking eyes that say: "come on, cooperate!" The dogs respond to you as the pack leader. Helping to encourage and also indicate with your voice when we are going to stop is quickly understood. Of course they know the way, but the ever-changing landscape with hills, curves, forests and open plains requires the utmost concentration from the entire team.

The guidance is fantastic. Very friendly and clear. Our guide was Saukko, a Dutchman of origin, an open, accessible person, a nature man, one with the dogs, good energy. He keeps an eye on the dogs (and the people) all the time. If necessary, dogs in the groups are switched or dogs are added. To distribute power fairly. People are also regularly asked if everything is going well. And with -24 degrees Celsius that is wise.

During our midway stop it is time for food, drinks, stories and questions. The dogs also get a break and a snack. Are checked and receive care. Again, it turned out that it's all about the wellbeing and happiness of the dogs. From different husky breeds, the will to work to care and consciously chosen breeding programs. Even after returning, it became clear how friendly the people of Era-Susi Huskies are and how important the dogs are to all of them. Our bus had to wait because we couldn't get enough.

All in all an experience you will never forget. Where passion of people and animals is central. Now a few weeks later I know I have to go back again, it remains on my bucket list.

Thanks and see you again, erwin taman.

We booked via Ruka Safaris this fantastic trip with the Huskey Sledge. Thanks to Hanneke from Ruka Safaris we were picked up perfectly on time (Hanneke and Giovanni changed their lives by stopping their jobs and work for Voight in Lapland..RESPECT!).
We had an individual tour of an hour, my wife and I both 30min steering, soo much fun and great to do. Such Sweet dogs. It all goes quite natural, beautiful weather and lovely service and guidance from Emma! Thanks Emma !!
Afterwards a cuddle with the dogs, coffee, drinks and sausage!
Absolutely unmissable experience.

Did the 28km husky tour together with my father. We had (coincidentally) a Dutch guide who moved there some years ago. This husky tour was definitely the highlight of the trip. It’s amazing to drive with the dogs through the snow and through beautiful sceneries. Halfway we had a stop where we had a snack and some coffee by the fire. Afterwards there was enough time to also pet and cuddle with the dogs, which they love! The company takes good care of the dogs, which you can really see. This whole experience was a dream come true and I would highly recommend to book it here. And since it is nit something you often do, I would choose the 28km ride. It is expensive, but more than worth the money! And you can tell that they invest part of the money in taking good care of the dogs.

Did the 5km safari.

Amazing staff, incredible experience. Our daughter suddenly fell ill around 10 mins before we were due to start. The staff were on hand to help and support, gave us a lot of time and attention to make sure she was ok.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

Experience was unforgettable, dogs were incredible. I cannot wait to come back.

Thank you so much.

Excellent from the moment we booked it. Did the 10km safari which they said gives you 45 mins of riding the sled but it felt like more time than that. We were there at least 3 hours with the post-ride drinks and snacks. It was surprisingly very easy to control the sled. Nobody fell off in our group and I think it is very rare to do so. The dogs were very friendly to fuss after the ride. Unfortunately our pre-booked Ruka taxis transfer let us down and it looked liked we were going to miss this event so I rang era-susi and they said they would wait. As it happened we were only about 10 mins late so no impact as the tour is a defined circular route. Taxi there cost 21 euros and took about 10 mins from the Ruka ski village hotel. Rang a taxi when it was time to come home. No problems with that.
