It is one of two clear/pure lakes in the world. When you fly over you see down to the bottom, which is 129 feet deep. It is worth the visit.

The lake was beautiful. Clear water. The beach was great. Boating was great and fishing was great. Stay away from any rocks in the water as kids tend to want to play on them but they are extremely slippery and could be a disaster real quick. Otherwise the water was amazing!

We stayed for three nights and would have stayed longer. Yurts are absolutely great. Like camping you cook outdoors and there is no plumbing in the yurt. To prepare for a stay bring everything you would to tent. The campground does provide firewood but you will need to split it yourself. In your yurt you will be off the ground... More

My husband and I came here to camp for a couple of days, stayed in the yurt. This was our second time we stayed in a yurt and now we don't want to go back to our tent. We did enjoy the camping here although the yurt that we stayed in was too close to the gravel road, this was... More

This is one of only four blue lakes in the world. It is beautiful! There were a ton of mosquitos but a bit of bug spray tamed them!

My wife and I used to spend time there. We swim, picnic or just relax on the beach during sunset. We just make sure that the bugs are not disturbing so much ;)

After spending another great night watching the Aurora Borealis in late August, I came this way early in the morning to sunset beach in the park for sunrise photos(Isn't that ironic coming to sunset beach for sunrise?lol). This area is quite nice for that purpose. I wish I would have spent the night before here, this is a GREAT area... More
