Bragg Creek is a pretty hamlet with lots of boutiques and restaurants, but also with a lovely provincial park just on it's southern edge. If you're looking for excitement, don't stop here. But if you want spend some time next to the Elbow River picnicking, or just want to stroll a bit in woods, this place is ideal. The park... More

We drove down to West Bragg Creek for a little snowshoeing. When we arrived (on a Friday afternoon), there were cars lined up on both sides of the road going in and the parking lots were packed! The last kilometre of road leading up to the parking lot is a little rough as the road is gravel and not cleaned... More

Very close to Calgary, just outside quaint Bragg Creek. Visit here in the winter and saw the river with ice on it. Really very winter and magical. In the summer you could easily enjoy a picnic or BBQ as there are tables and fire pits. Snowshoeing, cross country skiing in the winter, hiking etc in the summer.

Starts when entering the town and following the White street. The view of the river is beautiful specially during sunset, although we're not familiar with the area and didn't get to find any signalization where the trails where other than a picnic loop... We'll be back soon to figure out the terrain

Visited this park and was not impressed. There was broken glass all over the parking lot and garbage on the grass area. looked like a group of unsupervised teenagers had a party.

Trails and nature are the main draws! Enjoy the fresh air and the view of the mountains. Picnic areas are available to make it an all day family event.

We enjoy visiting Bragg Creek and spending some time in nature in the Provincial Park. The trails are easy walking for the most part and it is a very peaceful environment. Take a picnic lunch and relax here.
