My mum and I liked to shop here. Plenty of stores to choose from and places to dine. It had changed quite a bit since my last visit in 1999. I hope to return on my next trip to BC.

Park Royal is a great place for shopping, dining or just wandering around. It has a wide variety of shops ranging from small boutiques to large name-brand stores (Whole Foods, Best Buy, etc.). Prices seemed reasonable and customer service was excellent. The Mall is clearly very popular with locals so parking though plentiful can be tricky to negotiate. There are many eating and drinking places ranging from coffee bars to full scale restaurants. Getting there from downtown Vancouver is a breeze and costs C$3.00 by bus (257, 254, 250 run every few minutes) which I highly recommend! I relied on public transportation and 'Shank's Pony' the 4 days I visited Vancouver. No need to rent a car or use taxis (my opinion).…

I went to Park Royal on a Monday morning to do some shopping. I only went to the South side though. There have been some renovations done since I was last there and there are now more shops and more parking. It was quite easy to find parking. If you want to take public transit, it is simple to get here from downtown Vancouver. The mall is very clean, bright with high ceilings and the washrooms are very clean and well maintained. There are a couple levels with stores and a movie theatre but the majority of the shops are on the 1st level. There are several large department stores like Hudson's Bay, Winners/Home Sense, Bestbuy and Simons. There is also an Osaka Supermarket. There is everything there for your shopping pleasure and this is only the South side of Park Royal. From the directory, there is much more on the North side. I am sure that you can spend 4-5 hours there, if not more, if you like. I enjoyed it because it was quiet and not busy like other shopping centres in the lower mainland like Metropolis or Pacific Centre. You can get a lot done in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend going to Park Royal to do your shopping.…

Varied, excellent shops, and fantastic food court. Something for everyone, worth a visit, could be there all day. Easy to get to on the Sky Train.

While on vacation, we visited the Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver. It is an old mall with the same stores that you can find in other malls. The one unique store was the large Osaka Supermarket - it is an Asian grocery store that has a fresh seafood market with geoduck clams and King crabs. We came on a weekday afternoon. There were few people in the mall other than the shop employees. Even the food court was not busy. We went to the Park Royal for The Hudson Bay department store. The problem was that The Bay is part of a different mall called the Park Royal North that is not physically attached to the main Park Royal complex. There is no bridge between the malls and we had to leave the Park Royal to drive to The Bay. I'm not even sure if the two similarly named malls are related. Show less…
