A must for both visitors and locals. Well kept pathways, and quieter vibe. Even has an adjacent dog path to keep the main pathway pet free, which is so great. And parking is free all along with the adjacent streets, a rare thing in Greater Vancouver.

We love walking the Seawall in any weather condition. Good place for taking photos of views like Mount Baker with Lions gate in the foreground, Eagles on the trees, children playing, doggy park, especially the sunsets.

It doesn't get the 5 stars only because it's not a loop. But those first 4 stars are for the full sunshine all along the path, the waves crashing so close to your elbow, the little beaches, the great coffee shops right nearby, the doggie zone where these creatures remind us how to be free, the pool and ponds, the... Great scenery of the West Vancouver harbour. The pathway is always in excellent condition. I walk the seawall 3 times per week.

Note: dogs are not allowed on the seawall itself but are relegated to a small path on the other side of the fence separating the seawall from the train tracks. We walked a short portion from 21st to 23rd. Information signs throughout with local history. Benches for those who need a rest. Quiet on this Friday morning. Fresh air, beautiful... More

This is a wonderful amenity provided by West Vancouver for people of all abilities. You will see runners, walkers, strollers, people using wheelchairs, or folks just sitting watching the world go by. The views are spectacular - from the pier at Dundarave you can often spy Mount Baker behind the Lions Gate Bridge, and have a superb outlook over the... More

I've been walking along the Seawall since 2002 with a group of friends - we call ourselves the Wednesday Walkers. Each week we meet in Ambleside (14th Street) and walk to the Dundarave Pier at 25th, then back to our cars, but stop for refreshments at Starbucks at 17th & Marine.

During any summer day or winter squall this seawall is a delight to walk. Brings out the smiles of even the grumpiest person. Wish we could all walk it everyday. :)

If you want to go for a run with the best views run the sea wall. However be prepared to hurt after. The seawall is sloped and I found it a little hard on my joints. Did I enjoy it hell ya. Would I do it again? Yes... would I run it every day? Don't think my body could handle... More
