West Vancouver bans dogs almost everywhere on waterfront?? Stanley Park is open to leased dogs but not the West Vancouver’s Seawall!! You can watch them at Ambleside dog spot but give up on a “good walk” as their owners! The silly fence system for a few blocks demands you unleash your dog & shove it behind a mesh fence where she can walk uncontrolled, on a filthy poop filled path as no one can “pick-up” along railway tracks with constant openings for the dog to run onto the working railway tracks!!! We so much miss chatting with seniors about our little dogs and healthy walks due to a minority that West Vancouver Councillors fear .. Kits was way better!! We travel to other neighborhoods to walk our dogs with us as apposed to standing watching them at Ambleside!!…

A favourite walk while visiting Vancouver, especially when leaving the snowy winter of Calgary. It's a nice flat walk, gentle for those with fragile hips. Views of the ocean, the ships, the birds and the people always make it interesting. Pleasant to walk either in the sun or in the fog.…

This is a great place to walk any time of the year and really great on a sunny day. A bit crowded at times especially on the weekends and on those beautiful days. The city has tried to insure social distancing during the pandemic and the measures listed on the signs seem to work fairly well.…

Great place to go for a walk at anytime as the seawall has lighting. We do the seawall walk often rain or shine. It is a great place to have a stroll or brisk walk. Beautiful views of the lions gate bridge and if you are lucky in late spring or summer you will see a cruise ship pretty close. There are benches at various spots to have a seat and watch the ocean or get out on the pier. Better still end your walk at the Beach House Restaurant…
