Worth going to if you have a ton of time to kill in Yorkton but I definitely would not drive to Yorkton to see this. Also found the staff to be very uninterested in helping people, the person working at the desk seemed to be...More

We came here after being at the WDM in Moose Jaw. Enjoyed the setup and artifacts on display. It was very quiet on the day we visited. We took a picnic lunch and ate on site.

Was trying to kill time in Yorkton, having been to all the other WDM was expecting a certain amount of neat things and was far from disappointed. The gals in the front were extremely personable, and I loved it!

Went with 4 families with a total of 11 children. Lots to look at and read. Many, many old tractors in the back.

Lots of historical information about the growth and development of Saskatchewan. Shares the stories of many immigrant groups that came to the province and has a large outdoor collection of historical farm machinery. Our grandson loved it!

Very nice museum. I went on a day when it was not busy. Lots of detailed information about the exhibits. They also have a great little gift shop with lots of Saskatchewan based products. Definitely worth checking out.

I think this museum is getting better and better. I do like how it hasn't remained the same, it changes and evolves over time. I took my kids and they just loved it. There is a nice balance between written info and visuals and audio....More

We spontaneously attended the Threshermen's Festival at the museum and loved it! They had antique farm equipment and tractors in action demonstrating how they operated back in the day. Bread being baked in a clay oven...fresh! Old fashioned ice cream demonstration. Operating black smith. Lots...More
