My top 3 fall hiking spots are Forks of Credit, Dundas Peak and Mono Cliffs. Pro: - Forks of cliffs is close to Toronto, north of Brampton. 1h15m from Scarborough - costs only $8-10 for 2/4 hours - has everything! Waterfalls, natural trails (no pavements), challenging due to elevating trails, kettle lake. - A good variety of trails including ski... More

My husband and I always love to visit the Forks of the Credit because the view of the fall colours are so beautiful. It's one of the hidden gems of Ontario. It's near the town of Belfountain of which is south of the city of Orangeville, Ontario

This is a beautiful park with lots of hills and challenging trails. But if you dare to venture out on a weekend afternoon, you will not find any peace and quiet. We arrived shortly after noon and it seemed like a zoo. I wasn't prepared for what awaited when we left as it was even busier. There's only one parking... More

Visited this park for Thansgiving weekend and there were lots of people. There are not enough parking in the car park, most people need to park along the road. Self-service parking machine available to pay for 2 hr, 4 hr or whole day. Hiking trail is pretty easy for family to walk, some sections closed for now. The middle section... More

With many trails and much to see, beautiful serene nature, waterfalls and lakes. Excellent hiking for the novice or skilled. Lot's of climbing, good shady spots.

We had not been on this section of the Bruce Trail in years. It is a beautiful park with trails that cover meadows and forest. The Cataract Falls and the old mill ruins are the main attractions. Unfortunately there is some unfinished maintenance on a section of the trail that was washed out. Normally it would be a trail loop... More

I've been looking for nice hiking trails not too far away from home as day trips. I arrived here after 12pm, and parking cost $14.50. There was no option for the $5.50. We were only there for 2 hours but still had to pay the full day amount. There were lots of trails to choose from, we decided to see... More

This park gets a lot of recommendations from people in Toronto, although it tends to get these due to its proximity and not because of its amazing natural experiences. It is a nice park, though not particularly large, and contains a bit of the Bruce Trail, but compared to other provincial parks in Ontario belongs to the "good" and not... More

Nice place to hike, getting there, just follow the signs to a parking lot. Paid $5.25 for 2 hours, found it to be a perfect amount of time. Note, washrooms were all closed this time of year. Viewing platform was also closed. As of October 25th 2015. Hike took us 1 hour to the falls and 1 hour back. So... More
