As we are avid walkers/hikers, our family of 4 decided to visit this after reading about it online. You park at the entrance & walk about 1 km in before you see any art. Our visit was in early fall. The walk is fairly level with some "climbing"/walking over rocks. Some of the art installations were interesting and different and... More

We really enjoyed the trail. It was an easy walk and the art was interesting. Saw lots of frogs. It would be fun for kids. We have been I. The summer and in March when it was snowing. Both times it was a great walk.

We arrived to an empty car park around 9 am excited about seeing the art work in this unique location. Just after the gate, a little way into the walk the three of us all heard a very low groaning noise and saw some movement in some trees nearby. We joked a little about it being a bear. We continued... More

Fall colours were at their peak, interesting lichen and moss on large flat rocks to climb on while taking in some pretty cool art. Highly recommend for all ages. Gave me a new appreciation for the beauty of the Canadian Shield, having lived away from it for many years.

This is a unique and inspiring place - not so much a museum in the contemporary sense but more an open air art gallery. It does require physical effort (walking 5 km to appreciate all the installations) and that interaction is part of the experience. There are many discoveries to be made on the main trail and others a short... More

I've come to realize that art is in the eye of the beholder. It had rained heavily the day before so the trail was quite muddy. Lots of bugs. A lot of the signage had fallen down. Not that many things to see and it was hard to tell if it was art or nature. An easy hike. Wear a... More

The black flies and mosquitoes were bad this time of year, so we turned around. It was just not a pleasant walk, swatting away! Otherwise I'm sure it would have been good. It's not their fault, they warn you on website, but I can't really rate it very good, sorry, just wanted to say the bit about bugs!

If this were New York, there would be tickets and line-ups. Yes it's a bit of a hike but well worth the experience seeing large and small scale sculpture where you least expect it. Well worth the visit!

me and my kids loved all the cool art at the outdoor tree museum. It rocked. Most of the art you need to look for in the forest but itss very interesting and the artist all are very talented in their own right. I highly recommend the nature walk along the Tree Museum park.
