As part of the tour we spent time both outside and in learning about the history of this lovely Anglican church. Gorgeous interior !

have been here several times and if you enjoy varying architecture this has some very nice features. All of the events I have been to here had wonderful young people in attendance that were very knowledgeable about the history of the church ets.

Visit this church while you are in Lunenburg. The architecture is amazing. I didn't have time for a tour but will definitely book a tour on my next trip.

While strolling through the town we stumbled on this carpenter gothic style church. Was unable to go inside but a lot of character from the outside.

I've spent a lot of time in this church as an audience member at the annual Lunenburg Folk Festival, both before and after the tragic fire many years ago. The restoration is exquisite, that's the only word for it. You need to see it for...More

St. John's Anglican Church is one of the oldest in Canada. I've attended services, concerts and had the opportunity to sing there on occasion. Definitely a MUST SEE when visiting Lunenburg.

An excellent stop. Be sure to try the haunted night tour. Great guides and a hands on taste of the town and its history. The church is the climax of the tour with lots of uniqueness to learn about.

Stopped by to see this church. When we were there an older gentleman was talking about the history of this beautiful church. Very interesting!

Don't miss this beautiful church if you have time. The stained glass windows were saved after a devastating fire and the church was rebuilt from donations from around the world. The woodwork is gorgeous too. Worth the visit.
