A beautiful stop when visiting Lunenburg. Gives you a greater appreciation for the history of the area and why Lunenburg is a designated UNESCO site.

I was on a walking tour of Lunenburg and our guide arranged for the church organist to play for our group on our visit. Allow at least 30 minutes to see the church and grounds. You can also walk downhill to the water and take...More

We wandered into this church and were surprised by the beautiful interior. So much attention to detail! The history was also interesting. One of the best places we went into in Lunenburg.

Beautiful church full of history! The story of resilience of this town and building is amazing. Just wish the guides present would have acknowledged our presence and offered answers to our questions.

Beautiful exterior and interior, great for photographers. Amazing how this was rebuilt in 3 years after a major fire which destroyed half the church. Attention to detail from old pictures permitted workers to rebuild almost exactly the same as before. If not for the pictures...More

This historic and beautiful church welcomes the public to visit. The interior is beautiful. I'm grateful that photography is encouraged. I photograph a lot of churches...and this one was a pleasure to visit.

A must see in Lunenburg. Admission is by donation. Inside and out it is absolutely beautiful with quite the story of restoration due to a fire just a few years ago.
