We were a family of 5 going on this tour on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The guide and driver was very informative and added some humour to his spiel as well. It worked out to about $20.00 a person and it was 40 min. long. They give a lot of info on buildings as well as different people associated with... More

The horse and carriage ride begins at the Lunenburg waterfront. It lasts about 30 minutes, the live commentary is informative and any questions readily answered. The tour gives a very good overview of the town, allowing one to orientate oneself and to decide what to visit at leisure.

Had a great time doing this horse drawn carriage tour of Lunenberg! The driver of our carriage could easily be a standup comedian - she was so informative and entertaining.... Definitely recommend the tour!

It was a relaxing ride 30-40 minutes through the town. Excellent if you don't want to climb the hills. It would have been more enjoyable with more history and less of the KORNY jokes constantly which became irritating. Very nice architecture.

My mom and I love to start each city with a tour - this one was great. The guides are cheery and full of jokes. It was a great way to see the town and get a sense of the major sites. They treat the horses quite well too.

This is a great way to see all the old, well-maintained houses in Lunenburg. We found it interesting to see all the bright colours and learn a little bit about the town and houses. However, we were expecting that there would be more history and facts than jokes for the price.

Took the tour in the evening after dinner. Was a nice way to see the old buildings of the town. The tour guides give plenty of jokes(lots of groaners ) making it a very light trip with out lots of details. Nice light hearted trip with Ernie pulling us around.
