Worth spending a hiking day, then relaxing by the lake. Not easy to get to on foot. Very large park near a highway, so accessible by car.

I love going in the Parc de la Gatineau. It's a nice getaway. Whether it is for a picnic at the MacKenzie estate or just for a stroll in the woods. How about a photo session at the lakes? Some even enjoy it for a...More

The park is a great place for hiking in the woods or to have lunch or go to the beach at Lac Phillippe which also has camping grounds.

Allocate a full day to explore this beautiful park. Great cycling trails, scenic lookouts, Visitors Centre, campsites available. The Motel du Parc Secteur is across the street. Nice, clean motel, rooms all have fridges, rooms with kitchens & laundry also available.

We go every year for a walk in the fall with our kids. It is beautiful! The trail we take near O'Brian lake is easy with 3 little ones and then we go and have a picnic on the beach.
