Beach Blanchette is the second beach at Meech lake. It is somewhat less busy. Very nice view, protected, with lifeguard.

This is a great hiking spot. You can walk around the lake and also visit a mica mine there. It is easily accessible for kids.

I've been going to this lake to swim for years. There is a parking fee but, if you like cycling you can save on that. The water is clean and is fun if you like swimming far out.
