Tucked away in East Sooke, is this great beach. It is a little find! Beautiful views of the mainland, across the straits of Juan de Fuca. The beach sand is soft and the water is clear but cold. There are all kinds of shell fish, starfish etc. There is also jellyfish. There is a parking lot monitor with maps and... More

East Sooke Park offers a great introduction to what a west coast trail is all about. Quick access to an interesting petroglyph and awesome views of the Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympics. To complete the entire trail along the coast (Coast Trail) leave a vehicle at either end and enjoy with some good breaks a 7 hour one... More

East Sooke Park is a wonderful place to visit to be near the ocean and do some hiking. We did both. There are many trails some are easy and others are more difficult. You can chose.

Lovley beach and trails, beautiful trees along the rugged coastline. Trail along the coastline or go inland and up a small mountain. See the southernmost tip of Vancouver Island along the coast trail. Great day hikes year round

Nothing fancy. Large parking lot and a wee hike through a meadow and fruit trees to the edge of the land, and then a little bit of a challenging walk (for those with mobility issues- nothing for the able-bodied) down to the beach. Shallow, cold water, popular with kids and dogs.

What a beautiful little beach! Great picnic areas along the trails too. Unfortunately it's described as accessible which it certainly is not. Unless you don't mind sitting in a field and not going to the beautiful beach. The CRD really* needs to do some work around the trails to the beach head. Fun for an afternoon's outing

Plenty of parking, a lovely walk through an old orchard and meadows, to a nice brach & pretty views.

got here and walked to the adjoining beach , it has a sandy area for paddling in and access to a hike to other rocky beaches that are great for just watching waves or climbing around on rocks

All of these beautiful things await you on your journey! Walk the Coastal Trail to get the full experience of going from ocean level to the top of the cliffs then back down to the beach at the end. Simply beautiful!

I have fond memories of climbing around here when the Browns owned and farmed it. We kids were set free and only came back for food! It's another jewel in the crown of the Sooke Region.
