Overview
More
Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

Beautiful hike. We have gone many times. Living in Qualicum Beach we have been many times with visitors and I have gone for walks in February with my dog. A must see when in this area.

The views at the top of the Upper Falls were much better than some more vaunted Falls elsewhere so the modest hike was worth it

Great place for hiking to the falls lower and upper falls. As you see the falls you can hear and see how powerful the mighty waters are . Breath taking and so relaxing . We had our picnic there too. .

This was a nice place to stop for lunch and then an easy walk to both the upper and lower falls. A very good trail well maintained and easy to follow. From the carved out areas around the falls you realize the power of water.

We are not normally hikers but we decided to stop and go for a walk. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hike was wonderful and the falls were beautiful! Highly recommend this place!

With friends from Australia on a damp cloudy morning, the thundering water with mist rising. In awe everytime we visit.

We hiked to the falls which are incredible! I can see why you don’t swim in them. The trails are not well marked but are possible. Lots of ups and downs and walking around rocks and roots so you need good mobility for the trails....More

If you are tired of the heat, the pollution and the city streets, take an hour or two and visit this Park. You and your kids (or friends) will love it. The air is so crisp and clean and the falls are mesmerizing. Not huge...More

Lovely falls that only gets better the higher up that you walk. Easy trek but likely slippery when raining. Watched kayakers planning their risks and route then managed a few shots of their downstream travel. Nice colors and sounds. Worth the brief excursion off the...More

There was, I’m told, a fee a long time ago. There is no charge at this time. There has not been a charge for many years.
