Older provincial park. Not wide roads for motor homes to navigate. Great for smaller trailers. Lake is spring fed and shallow. Great beach for kids.

My husband and I chose to go to this park on Ontario Parks free day use day. We've been to quite a few Provincial Parks in our area and decided to travel a little farther north. This is a great park for day use! Nice picnic areas and a small but nice beach area. We're used to going to cold... More

We were looking for a new place to visit within 2 hrs of Toronto . I came across bass lake and we made a day of it ! The water was warm ,the beach was clean and the park all for a great price for the day at 14.25$ . The washrooms were a bit of a walk but clean... More

Despite the park's small size and proximity to a city, it surpassed my expectations. The topography is lovely...it's hilly with most camp sites up on the hill, covered BBQ areas, convenient bathrooms, a playground for kids, a nice medium-size expanse of beach with shallow access, and about a 1km accessible (paved) trail. Beyond the 1km, the trail leaves the waterfront... More

we wanted to stay in the area this past weekend and decided to check out bass lake for a one night visit. the staff at the desk were helpful and welcoming, and the sight we chose was lovely; lots of trees, close to hiking trails, the restrooms were clean and conveniently located, and the beach area was very nice. I... More

A smaller Provincial Park located on Bass Lake. It has a trail systems and good camp grounds. The bad part about this park is, during the winter month when the camp is closed and only used for hiking the trails or do some snow shoeing, there is a $3.00 parking charge. Better to go to other parks around Orillia where... More

Drove through this park; didn't stop but checked it out for future camping and this looks like a great place to stay; large campsites and very clean with lots of trees and right on lake. We want to come back!

We went to Bass lake for an afternoon of swimming and maybe canoeing, When we arrived at 4pm we were told it was a flat daily rate of $14 which was almost as much as Algonquin park and we were there for the whole day. If you were coming for the day then fine but we wanted to swim so... More
