Great place to stop for a swim , have lunch , walk or take the dog on the trail that runs adjacent. Ice cream stand in summer and a kiddie play area make this a lovely stop or destination. Located on Hwy 12 south just before the "Narrows".

It took me a couple years to finally take a walk in this park, and what a treat! There are many free parking spots, and a big beautiful park to enjoy nature in, with water views on all sides. If your a Gordon Lightfoot fan, you will find a nice memorial to his achievements here. I can see there is... More

On advice from our future son-in-law, we recently paid a visit to Tudhope Park to see the Statue dedicated to Gordon Lightfoot. He was there when it was unveiled and he told us how impressive this statue is. He wasn't wrong. What a wonderful piece of art, and it couldn't have been placed in a better location than that. We... We always enjoy spending time here whether it is just to go for a walk in the evening, bringing out of town friends here to enjoy the area and of course bringing the grandchildren down when down for a visit. Just a nice enjoyable atmosphere.

Tudhope Park is home to the Mariposa Folk Festival in July. There's a beach, baseball diamonds, picnic tables, trails, and some "natural shoreline". Take the trail to the point to see the Gordon Lightfoot commemorative installation, which will be expanding in the years to come. Stop and get an ice cream to enjoy along the way.

We walked the paved trail at night on a Tuesday night after dark, saw no one! Beautiful silhouettes of trees lit by the lights of the city.

Great park in Orillia on little Lake Couchiching bay to spend the day having a picnic, swimming, sunbathing, strolling around the trail along the water's edge and great place for kiddies to play on the beach or splashpad and well supervised with lifeguards. Water is calm and shallow and marked off in deeper areas with ropes & bouys. Hotels and... More

Lots to do all year round, there is a beach, french fries, washrooms, ice cream stand, kayak rentals, beach volleyball ... a wonderful place to take the whole family and stay all day. During the year there is the Mariposa Festival & Ribfest. We walk along the paths and they come from the West and East of Orillia from a... More
