Lawns and house is well maintained. Interesting piece of history. The artiste that captured the time his picture is also there which is not always the case. Source of local pride and awesome volunteers. Boat house needs repair and is a great view point all year long.

Really enjoyed learning about Leacock, and you could feel why he loved this place! Easy to find, quiet, lots to see.

Great Canadian historic place. Leacock was a Canadian icon of the day. His banking essay is hilarious and should be read by every banker.

This is my second time visiting the museum. It's so peaceful and beautiful, it's possible to imagine Mr. Leacock sitting on the porch watching the sunset. They made us feel welcome to explore on our own, welcome to sit in his chair if we felt like it. Meet a young man in the entrance and he was happy to tell... More

Located on Lake Couchiching's scenic Brewery Bay this beautiful old revitalized home of Stephen Leacock is filled with history including original furnishing and Leacock's extensive library. An extremely interesting guided tour by one of the very knowledgeable guides will take less that an hour. The grounds and gardens themselves are worth the visit. Living in Orillia we have often take... More

We like to cycle & have our lunch at the water. The grounds are spectacular & it's a nice place to go for a walk.

Although we visited a number of good attractions within an hour of this site, this was a highlight. We love old architecture, Canadiana, literary history and biographical insights -- and we got it all here at the Leacock Museum. Have to mention that the guide was a young fellow who knew his stuff and was happy to share it. I... More

The Leacock museum is a wonderful place to spend a sunny summer afternoon. You get the feeling of living in the period of his time. The grounds are very nice and well kept. You get the wonderful feeling of the surroundings. Take the kids and teach them about the past history of Stephen Leacock andhis works. Hope to see you... More
