A great place to explore, take a cruise or just picnic. 1000 islands has a lot of great character and scenery. Make more than a day of it.

Growing up here and having travelled quite a bit I would still say this is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful parts of the world. Autumn especially. If able to get out on the water even better.

This is the most beautiful place on earth. This is where heaven meets earth. You can visit is a hundred different ways and enjoy it just the same. Come by water, air or land. Enjoy a day paddling, swimming or fishing.

Hi I'm visiting the area mid to end of April will the cruises be running then? From what I've seen they start in May :-(

I can't answer this -best to check with Gananoque Boat lines but I think April is a bit early for cruising.
